Architectural Solar: Standing Seam Mounting Systems
Standing seam solar systems merge high-end architectural aesthetics with non-invasive installation. Designed specifically for standing seam metal roofs, they use clamped mounting solutions that avoid penetrating the roof surface. Clamps grip the vertical seams and support aluminium rails that securely hold PV panels in either landscape or portrait orientation.
Built with AA6063-T6 structural aluminium and SS304/SS316 stainless steel fasteners, making it suitable for Singapore’s tropical climate as the system offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
The non-penetrative attachment preserves roof integrity and prevents leaks, while the clean, minimalist aesthetic complements both traditional and modern homes. Engineered to withstand high winds and heavy rain, the system ensures long-term reliability. With a ventilation clearance of 90 – 150 mm, it also supports effective heat dissipation, keeping modules cool and optimising performance.

Our System Variants
Two main system variants are available:
- Standard Standing Seam - Designed for most roofs with landscape-oriented modules and at least 90 mm clearance.
- Standing Seam + - Accommodates portrait-oriented modules with 150 mm ventilation clearance, allowing taller module stacks and improved airflow.
These solutions allow panels to blend harmoniously into the roofline, offering a practical and visually refined choice for everything from compact homes to large, design-forward residences.

Standing seam systems achieve visual cohesion through clean lines and hidden fixings, making solar integration discreet and unobtrusive while preserving architectural character.
Many residential rooftops, such as metal, tiled, or other sleek roofing profiles, are well-suited for this system. Premium finishes using high-quality materials ensure the solar installation complements the home’s overall aesthetic. In terms of efficiency, high-performance modules like REC Alpha Pure‑RX deliver robust energy output, especially when paired with proper ventilation and alignment.
